HP CEO Carly Fiorina Inspires Viewers During Major Web Event by Netbriefings and Express Interactive Solutions

Event demonstrates power of strategic partnership and unique strengths of Netbriefings technology and software

St. Paul, Minnesota - October 2, 2001 - Netbriefings, a full-service webcast technology provider that specializes in secure and large-audience Internet broadcasts, and it's strategic business partner, Express Interactive Solutions, announced today a successful live broadcast of a major online event with Carly Fiorina, Chairman and CEO of Hewlett-Packard Company. Ms. Fiorina spoke to hundreds of people in person and online on the role of leadership in moving America forward after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon earlier this month.

A fully interactive archive of the event is available at www.netbriefings.com/event/MNMeeting/Archives/Fiorina. The archive demonstrates the unique functionality of the Netbriefings software: instant polling, surveying and email functionality during live and archived versions of events and full synchronization of PowerPoint presentations with speaker video and audio.

The event was held Wednesday evening at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center. Remote viewers from as far away as Singapore and Tokyo joined the event online.

Web participants sent in questions to Ms. Fiorina and participated in several instant polls on how their businesses have been affected by the terrorist attacks, where they see the economy headed and on their views on the recently announced merger of Hewlett Packard and Compaq. Their questions and poll results were presented to Ms. Fiorina during the one-hour session's Q&A. Archive viewers can participate in the same polls - and see the results with their input.

The event was hosted by Minnesota Meeting, a prominent Twin Cities-based public affairs forum, which is managed by Express Interactive Solutions.

Richard Schulze, founder, chairman and CEO of Best Buy Co, Inc., introduced Ms. Fiorina. Ronald Turner, chairman, president and CEO of Ceridian Corporation and chairman of Minnesota Meeting, opened the event. Their remarks are also available in the online archive.
