Phil Leigh, President of Inside Digital Media
Phil Leigh is president of Inside Digital Media. Prior to founding Inside Digital Media, Phil was a stock analyst. While at Raymond James & Associates, he became one of the first analysts in the securities industry to focus on the Internet. As the Internet evolved, his coverage gradually segued into Digital Media. Earlier Phil worked as a technology stock analyst at The First Boston Corporation, Reinheimer Nordberg, and Williams Securities Group.
He is best known for his larger industry-centered studies. The primary objective of the research was to identify, before they were obvious, media and communications technologies that would ultimately become dominant. Two of the reports have been used as study materials at the Stanford Business School.
Phil has been invited to be a moderator or panelist at a number of industry conferences including Kagan World Media, Streaming Media, Webnoize, Comdex, Wharton Business School, Wainhouse, and Digital Hollywood, among others. He has had numerous television appearances on CNBC and other leading networks and has been cited in leading newspapers and magazines as an expert in Digital Media.
